Finely cut soba noodle looking at the beautifully lined zelkova trees on Omotesando Street.

Matsubara-an is a buckwheat soba noodle restaurant that is located on the busy Omotesando Shopping street. But they succeed in providing a calm atmosphere since customers can overlook the beautiful zelkova trees lined along the road.

Matsubara-an prepares only the portion that customers eat on that day. So you can always have a fresh and finely cut Nihachi Soba. Nihachi means the soba made from 80% buckwheat flour and 20 % from wheat flour. Their soba is Edomae-style that spreads its flavor over the mouth and goes well with its spicy soup. They also offer seafood Arare-age, which is a unique tempura style. Arare-age is the fried food sprinkled with the hail-cut material on other ingredients.
